Ohio Entrepreneurs Team Up to Provide a Data Analytics Training Program to Build Talent Pool Employers Across the State and Beyond
Columbus, Ohio (December 14, 2020)— TalentID Academy is an intensive data analytics course that combines interdisciplinary learning, professional mentorship, and an apprenticeship to prepare students for a successful career in the critical and growing field of data analytics.
Columbus-based entrepreneurs, Jen Wells and Bill Balderaz, have teamed up to offer this innovative new course due to the growing demand for analytics talent they observed in their own careers. Wells is the Founder and President of TalentID Group, a staffing, placement and consulting firm, and Balderaz is the Founder and President of Futurety, a data analytics and digital communication strategy firm. Together, Balderaz and Wells have over 20 years of experience in hiring and training teams in the digital marketing, analytics, and emerging technology space.
“There are over 500 data analytics jobs open in Ohio alone,” said Bill Balderaz. “Data analytics is a growing field and one that provides a career path with increasing opportunities for those that excel in math and statistics.”
The Academy is an intensive data analytics training program structured to provide students a multidisciplinary approach to learning. The course includes in-class learning, one-on-one mentorship with industry professionals and a paid apprenticeship providing portfolio-building work opportunities.
A maximum of 12 students will be accepted into the inaugural class beginning on January 25, 2021. The deadline to submit an application to the program is January 8, 2021.
Customized financial aid packages are available to all students. Students can also take advantage of WIET, TechCred. Local organizations including the Columbus Chamber of Commerce, Women in Analytics and TogetherDigital have partnered with TalentID Academy to provide discounts for their members.
